Sunday Worship
Join us this Sunday at 10:00am as we gather for worship and fellowship. We will continue our series in the Gospel of Mark. Our scripture passage is Mark 14:12-31, and the sermon is titled "Who Holds The Future." See you Sunday!

Help People Find Grace Online

Community Group Update
The Wednesday Community Group is meeting on Zoom from 7-7:45pm for the summer. There will be a short devotional and a time of prayer. Please email Jon Lanuza for details at jon.lanuza@gracestamford.org. All are welcome.
Teen Summer Book Club Update
The book club is meeting on Sundays after the Worship Service in Taylor Hall until 12:30pm. They are reading the book, "This Changes Everything", by Jaquelle Crowe - "These aren't our rebellious years: these are the years we rise up to obey the call of Christ. This isn't our time to slack off: it's our time to stand out. This isn't a season for self-satisfaction: it's a season for God-glorification." Women's Retreat
The Women's Retreat at Camp Spofford is September 16-18. The cost is $145 and includes room and meals from Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast. Space is limited, so register as soon as possible. You can register online at campspofford.org or see Jenna Spencer for details.

The Men's Retreat at Camp Spofford is Sept 30 - Oct 2. We will provide more details as they become available.
Family Board Game Night
Join us Saturday, August 6th from 5pm - 8pm for an evening of games and fun! Bring your family, friends, and your favorite board game - or check out one of ours! We will have a collection of board games available that everyone can enjoy. For more information, please contact keisha@gracestamford.org
Baptism and Picnic at Cove Beach
Our annual baptism service and church picnic will be on Sunday, August 14. If you are interested in being baptized as an expression of your faith, please see Pastor Tom. There is a sign up sheet at the back of the sanctuary to sign up for food items to bring for the picnic. We also need people to help set up and clean up. If you do not have a Stamford Beach Pass, meet at the church at 9:00am for shuttle rides to Cove Beach. If you are able to provide rides for those who don't have a pass, please sign up for that as well.
Family Movie Night
Save the date! Join us for Family Movie Night on Saturday, August 20th! Invite your family and friends, bring a blanket, and enjoy our showing of Dreamwork's "Shrek". The evening will begin at 6pm, with the movie beginning promptly at 6:30pm. Popcorn and refreshments will be provided.
Grace Worship Music Catalog
We now have a Grace Worship Music Catalog. It includes most of our classics, with a few of our newer songs included as well. The list will continue to be updated as the worship leaders introduce new songs.
Prayer
Our prayer focus this week is for those in our Grace Church family who have physical and financial needs. Also pray for those who are looking for housing.
Continue to pray for our church family, including: The Toledo family, Marilyn Gabriel, Dora Bush, Eloise Mathis, Julian Bosch, Serge Gabriel, Eloise Jordan, Anne Gallo, Anne Ragoonanan, Virginia Jordan, and Rachel Bacon. Pray also for Agar Alcin, Elaine Mehan, John Foster, who are unable to attend.

Women in Prayer
Prayer is our top priority, and one way we focus on prayer is through the Women in Prayer group. This group is open to all women, and it meets at 9:00am before the Sunday service to pray for our church, community, country, world, and each other.
