  • Last week, we discovered the scroll that no man was worthy to open. However, after much weeping, The Lamb that was Slain rose to His feet and took the scroll from the Father.
This scroll as we determined last Sunday morning and more in detail, Sunday Evening, is the Title Deed of the Earth. Jesus Christ is the Kinsman Redeemer coming to take back what is rightfully His.
He does so before the elders seated around the throne.
The Redemption takes place as the Seals are being opened.
The attitude of this letter now takes a major turn as we enter into the 6th chapter.
Understand, this is real people experiencing real events, many that we love and associated with will be affected.
Billions will die, Billions will survive to face the righteous judgment of God.
We will discover 3 terrible waves of Holy Justice being executed:
The 7 Seals Opened. Rev 6-7
Interval between the 6th and 7th Seal. Rev. 7
The 7th Seal contains the 7 trumpets
The 7 Trumpets Sounded. Rev 8-9
Interval between the 6th and 7th Trumpet. Rev. 10:1-11; 14
With The 7 Thunders Uttered. Rev 10 between the 6th and 7th Trumpet. Sealed and unknown what was said.
The 7th Trumpet contains the 7 Vials or Bowls
The 7 Vials or Bowls of Wrath Poured Out. Rev. 16
Interval between the 6th and 7th Bowl. Rev. 16:13-16.
All Judgments are carried out in the 7 Seals.
God had a plan and God will execute His plan.
Each successive set of judgments will be worse and more devastating than its predecessor.
The seal judgments will kill 1/3 of the world’s population.
The Trumpets will take another 1/3 and bring devastation upon the earth.
The Bowls will complete the wrath of God.
    Revelation 15:1 KJV 1900
1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
They will bring about unimaginable sores and blood and darkness, and misery until a voice mercifully calls out to heaven, “It is done!”
    Revelation 16:17 KJV 1900
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
These judgments happen between the Rapture and Resurrection of the Saints we see in Rev. 4:1 and the manifestation of Himself, bride and saints at His 2nd Coming.
Again, the church was promised in Rev 3:10
    Revelation 3:10 KJV 1900
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Again, the Apostle Paul told the church at Thessalonica, 1 Thess 1:10
    1 Thessalonians 1:10 KJV 1900
10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
Prophecy relates to the earth and the inhabitants of the earth, but the Church as Christ’s body and the Lamb’s Bride, is associated with Him in the heavens, and consequently outside the sphere of prophetic dealings.
Today, as we begin chapter 6 in our studies, we need to understand that we just saw Christ take the 7 sealed scroll in His hands. Now, in chapter 6, Christ is going to begin breaking the seals one by one while the saints are watching from heaven with John as he writes what he is viewing as it takes place upon earth.
The period of time that we will now begin studying most of the summer, is the time written about by Daniel is known as the Tribulation period or Daniel’s 70th week. Other names are the “Day of the Lord” and “the time of Jacob’s trouble”.
Because of language and confusion, I will not refer to this period as the Tribulation period any longer, because there are many tribulation times in the Bible but will now only refer to this period in scriptural terms as “Daniel’s 70th week” or “the Day of the Lord”.
    Daniel 9:24–27 KJV 1900
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Another thing to understand is that these seals will be opened gradual, logical, and chronological, continuing and overlapping throughout the 7 year tribulation period. The 7 seals stands as an overview of “Daniel’s 70th Week” and the four horseman parallel with Jesus’s teaching in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 where Christ gives us the chronological outline of events though not much in detail giving us the outline of the 7 Seals where He tells His disciples about false messiahs, wars and rumor of wars, famine, deaths, and martyrdom.
God wants us not to be ignorant about the end times, He wants us prepared for the end times.
Daniel 11:36-45 describes the rise and fall of the Antichrist marked by deception, War, Famines, and death. So, with all that background lets begin.
Remember, the scene of chapter 5 is in Heaven where John is looking at a scene of judgment and the throne, a judgment throne with the 4 living creatures speak the judgment if the seals and the 24 elders as the jury and witnesses of the redemption of earth by the slain lamb, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of Jesse.
    Revelation 6:1–2 KJV 1900
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
    Matthew 24:5 KJV 1900
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Seal 1: The White Horse! Deception!

Horses in John’s Day were the war machines.
The first time we something of this description is in Zechariah 1:8
    Zechariah 1:8 KJV 1900
8 I saw by night, and behold a man riding upon a red horse, and he stood among the myrtle trees that were in the bottom; and behind him were there red horses, speckled, and white.
The angel tells us of these riders.
    Zechariah 1:9–10 KJV 1900
9 Then said I, O my lord, what are these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will shew thee what these be. 10 And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the Lord hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.
    Zechariah 1:11 KJV 1900
11 And they answered the angel of the Lord that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.
In Zechariah 6:1-8, Zechariah sees a vision of four chariots of horses, which are the four living creatures, the four spirits, before the throne of God that are let loose upon the earth to deal out vengeance on Babylon and Egypt and the nations which have oppressed God’s people.
    Zechariah 6:1–8 KJV 1900
1 And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. 2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; 3 And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses. 4 Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? 5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth. 6 The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country. 7 And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. 8 Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
Again, the horses are 4 different colors walking to and fro through the earth. The horses are agents of God’s wrath and vengeance upon men. This is the source picture that we find the answer to these visions in Revelation where the horses and riders are the instruments of the avenging judgments of God.
Notice also, this only happens here, not in the any of the other seals, trumpets or vials.
    Revelation 6:1 KJV 1900
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
The Lamb Opens the Seal, the Actor, Jesus Christ Starts it and finishes it in Rev 19.
    “thunder” = coming judgment.
    “thunder” predicts the coming judgment.
The first occurence of thunder in the Bible is in connection with God’s judgment upon Egypt.
    Exodus 9:23 KJV 1900
23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
The voice, the sound of a clap of thunder marks the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week or Jacob’s trouble.
    Jeremiah 30:7 KJV 1900
7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: It is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; But he shall be saved out of it.
and then John saw again the ministers of the seal.
    Revelation 6:2 KJV 1900
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
White symbolized victory. Roman conquerers typically would ride white horses down the streets of Rome in triumphal processions, followed by their victorious army, spoils, and prisoners of war.
Because of this, much confusion and discussion is placed on the rider of this white horse.
Is it Christ or is it the Anti-christ. I believe both are pictured in the book of Revelation.
The rider in Revelation 6 (first seal) is a deceptive conqueror or the Antichrist initiating judgment, while the rider in Revelation 19 is explicitly Jesus Christ returning in glory.
Similarities exist in the white horse color and victorious intent, but they differ fundamentally in crown type, weapon, origin, and identity—the former brings false peace, the latter true judgment.
    Similarities
White Horse: Both riders are mounted on a white horse, traditionally symbolizing victory or righteousness.
Conquering Role: Both go forth with a purpose to conquer (Rev 6:2) or judge and make war (Rev 19:11).
Visual Impact: Both scenes present a powerful, striking image meant to convey a significant, unstoppable force.
    oncedelivered.net
However, the differences fundamentally show the differences in identification of the 2.
    Differences
Crown Type: The Rev 6 rider wears a stephanos (a victor’s wreath, given to him), while the Rev 19 rider wears many diademata (kingly crowns).
Weapon: The Rev 6 rider has a bow (no arrows mentioned, implying, a bloodless conquest or deception), whereas the Rev 19 rider has a sharp sword (the word of God) to strike the nations.
Origin: The Rev 6 rider emerges when a seal is opened on earth, while the Rev 19 rider descends from heaven.
Context: The Rev 6 rider initiates the tribulation (false peace), while the Rev 19 rider brings the final judgment.
    oncedelivered.net
In short, the first rider represents deception and war, while the second represents ultimate righteousness and victory.
The Identity therefore is The Rev 6 rider is a "counterfeit" (the Antichrist) or a humanistic force,
He is also known as the “Little Horn” in Daniel 7, the ruler of the restored Roman Empire, and the final world dictator.
In the New Testament he is known as “the Man of sin”
    2 Thessalonians 2:3–4 KJV 1900
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
    and “Wicked”
    2 Thessalonians 2:8 KJV 1900
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
He is also, The Beast of Revelation 13.
    Revelation 13:1 KJV 1900
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
    Revelation 13:7 KJV 1900
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Whereas the Rev 19 rider is explicitly identified as "Faithful and True," "Word of God," and "KING OF KINGS".
After the church is raptured, Jesus Christ will open the first seal that will showcase the arrival of the Anti-Christ,
    he will exhibit a

    False Purity:

    Revelation 6:2 KJV 1900
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
The Anti-Christ enters riding a white horse but is known as the “man of sin”, the wicked, the beast. It is interested that on the outside he will look and sound like Jesus Christ, but inside, he is evil incarnate.
Not only will he be marked with false purity but also with

    False Peace:

    Revelation 6:2 KJV 1900
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
In Nehemiah 4:13, the Jews returned from Babylon with
    Nehemiah 4:13 KJV 1900
13 Therefore set I in the lower places behind the wall, and on the higher places, I even set the people after their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows.
Swords are used for hand to hand battling.
Spears are used to keep the enemy as distance.
Bows are for far off combat. The bow would not very much damage and we see that the Antichrist will not even have arrows.
He will come not in hand to hand combat but will come in peacefully with his personality and deceptive wisdom and charm that will quickly gain the admiration of all the world. He will be a mighty conquerer and will be victorious but not because of the weapon.
    Again, Matt 24:5
    Matthew 24:5 KJV 1900
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
The peace will not be the peace of Jesus Christ described in Isaiah 11:1-6
    Isaiah 11:1–10 KJV 1900
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: And he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, Neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, And reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: And he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, And with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, And faithfulness the girdle of his reins. 6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, And the leopard shall lie down with the kid; And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. 7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; Their young ones shall lie down together: And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, And the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea. 10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, Which shall stand for an ensign of the people; To it shall the Gentiles seek: And his rest shall be glorious.
Instead, the False Christ, this Anti-christ, will bring false peace by quickly makes a peace treaty with Israel. This agreement is only a pretense of the deception of his true purpose to get Israel comfortable and then destroy them in the 2nd half according to
    Daniel 9:27 KJV 1900
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (Seven Years): and in the midst of the week (3 1/2 years) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
The Apostle Paul also wrote of this in 1 Thess 5:1-3
    1 Thessalonians 5:1–3 KJV 1900
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Lastly, we will see the Anti-christ with false Purity, false, Peace and

    False Power:

    Revelation 6:2 KJV 1900
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
Crown = a circlet, chaplet, or victor’s crown, the laurel wreath of champion.
    1 Corinthians 9:25 KJV 1900
25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
This crown was the crown worn that was emblematic of victory or conquest. It was a crown given for victory in war, in the games, and to the saints in heaven as victors.
Therefore, the crown is simply significant for the victory of the Anti-christ, not because of any victories but because he would be victorious.
The position of leadership as a world leader will be “given” to him by the unsaved world, who will willfully and submissively follow the rider of the white horse who deceives them.
However, know also that God allows it and in a strange way, God, through Jesus Christ and the opening of the seals is going to cause it to come to pass.
    Proverbs 21:1 KJV 1900
1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever he will.
    In Rev 17:16-17
    Revelation 17:16–17 KJV 1900
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
The bad news is that the world will think he is Christ and the Millennial. Millions will be tricked. Even Israel will sign a covenant with him, a king of treaty for protection. God’s judgment and wrath has begun.
The good news is however, John has shown us ahead of time that we can be watching safely from the grandstands in heaven.
You simply have to repent, and believe in the death and sacrifice of Jesus Christ for your sins, and accept Him as the Lord of your life.
    The invitation is Come!
    2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV 1900
