Think on These Things – April 26, 2020

Read something very interesting several years ago: “The task ahead of us is never greater than the power behind us.” The only thing I would change is “behind us” to “in us.” Galatians 6:19 says, “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” My friends, let’s continue being faithful and walking by faith. Remember, faith is only as strong as the object of our focus. We have a mighty God in whom we are focused. His “arm” is not short.

Think on These Things – May 3, 2020

Read a book several years ago by Philip Keller entitled, “Lessons from a Sheep Dog: A True Story for Transforming Love.” Mr. Keller said, when training a sheep dog, the hardest thing was teaching him to wait when the shepherd was not in sight. We know that the Holy Spirit resides within the spirit of a believer and is experienced by faith. Let us be real now, sometimes “faith” is easier than other times. When the Shepherd seems “out of sight”, let us stand in faith; it’s the same faith as when He seems so near. Mark 9:24, “…“I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” Stay strong saint, the Shepherd is right where He’s always been.
