• Update (17/4)

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear...” (Psalm 46:1-2a)

Following the advice of the Government yesterday regarding COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus), the Elders have made the decision that, for the time being, all our regular gatherings are suspended.

We want to both love one another including the most vulnerable, and be good citizens who support the governing authorities by following their advice.

Yet we also recognise the importance of continuing to meet together (Hebrews 10:25) and to encourage one another daily (Hebrews 3:13), so we are in the process of putting together alternative plans to help us do that while these restrictions are in place. Please read this information carefully and we will update as soon as any circumstances change.

Sunday Service 10.30am. We are hoping to livestream a simple service on Sunday morning. Anyone with a computer/phone/tablet and internet access will be able to watch. We will be recording the sermon as usual.

Sunday School. We will email some resources for families to use at home with their children on Sunday or during the week. There may even be a children’s talk within the livestream service on Sunday morning.

Sunday Service 6.30pm. If possible, we will livestream some Bible teaching on Sunday evening with the accompanying handout available to download.

Thursday Prayer Meeting 8pm. We will email a set of prayers for you to join in praying with the rest of the church at the time we would usually gather to pray.

All other meetings are suspended for now.

May we use these strange times we are in, to show that our trust is in the Sovereign God; to grow in our knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ; to express our confident hope for the future; and to love one another.
