COMMUNION: This morning we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion. Jesus invites all who are weary and heavy laden to find rest in him. He invites the young, old, rich, poor, strong, and weak—all who have faith in him to come to the feast and be nourished. The bread is gluten-free.

LOVE IS THE GREATEST: Our sermon series is focusing on the “Love passage” from 1 Corinthians 13. Our art installation reflects a heart on fire that is filled from on high. We love because He first loved us! And we have the Holy Spirit’s power to live in the more excellent way of selfless love.

GEMS: Tomorrow will be our game night with the ladies of Bethel and should be LOADS of fun!! Bring a favorite game if you wish! If you want to pre-pay for roller skating on February 18, please bring $4.50.

LADIES OF BETHEL: You are invited to GAME NIGHT with the Bethel GEMS tomorrow, February 4, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Please bring a photo of yourself from childhood or think of a favorite memory from when you were between the ages of 7-14 to share with the girls.

LEARN ABOUT MESSIANIC JUDAISM: Our 11th-12th grade Sunday School class has been studying various denominations under the umbrella of Christendom. On February 10, we have the opportunity to learn from Monica Ruby, LCHS school counselor, regarding her faith tradition, Messianic Judaism, when she speaks to our class. We invite the congregation to join us, starting at 9:20 am.

VESPER SERVICES: Group one will lead the service next week at Meadow Greens: Homer & Betty Wigboldy, John & Jane Schouten, Jerry & Sue Meenderinck, Dolores Bosman, Les & Marcia Mulder, Jan Herwerden, Ruth Tiersma and Gertrude Statema. Group two will lead the service at CHCC on February 17.

LIBRARY BOOKS: Don’t forget to check out the new books in the library. If you want to take a book (or DVD) home, be sure to sign your name and the date on the checkout card located in the pocket on the front page (or on the back of the DVD) and place the card in the basket on the library desk. Please do not remove books or DVDs from the library without checking them out as we have a number of them that are missing.

MISSING BOOKS: We are missing these library books in a series by author Alexander McCall Smith: The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, and The Kalahari Typing School for Men. If you have them, please return them to the church library.
