LUNCH ON THE LAWN: You are encouraged to stay for lunch on the lawn following this morning’s service. All menu items (ham buns and potato salad) will be COVID friendly servings including individual bags of chips and self-contained drinks.   


SUNDAY SCHOOL REMINDER: Just a reminder that our first Sunday School class of the season was today at 9 am. A special thank you to our teachers: Cori Litorja (K-2), Marcia Mulder (3-5), Jennie Meenderinck (6-8) and Brent Van Dalen (9-12). 


ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL: “Reconciled: A Biblical Approach to Racial Unity.” Begins today! 5pm – 6:30 in the Fireside Room.


QUILTING LADIES will begin meeting this Thursday, September 16 at 1 pm in the quilt house. As in previous years, we will meet every other week.  


VOLUNTEER WORK PARTY: Habitat for Humanity needs help with basic interior framing at their Telegraph Road site. We would like to get a group together from Bethel to join a group from Second CRC on Friday, September 17. If you are able to help, please contact Doug Van Andel. Lunch will be provided.


TUESDAY MORNING LADIES: God willing, we will meet at 10 am on September 21 to talk about a new season of studying God’s word. Contact Carol De Jong with comments or questions. 


THE WOMEN’S THURSDAY evening Bible study will begin again on September 30. (We meet every other Thursday evening). We will study “A Woman of Contentment” by Dee Brestin based on the book of Ecclesiastes. We would love to have you join us! Contact Norene for a book or more information.
