WELCOME to Pastor Chuck Kleinhesselink, retired pastor of Nooksack Valley Reformed Church and currently on staff at First Reformed in Lynden.

NEXT WEEK Mitchell Senti of Envision Mission will lead our service.

SUNDAY DINNER: Care Group four meets today in the basement. Group two is next week; group three is April 10.

THE COUNCIL enjoyed visiting with Pastor Bryan Dick via ZOOM on Tuesday night and will follow the recommendation of the Pastor Search Committee to extend him a call. We will submit Pastor Bryan’s name to the congregation for approval next Sunday, April 3, immediately following the service. We ask for greater than 75 percent approval. Absentee ballots are available in the back of church this morning. If you are unable to pick one up or return it, please contact the church office or your Care Group elder. If you have questions, please contact a member of the council. Special thanks to the Pastor Search Committee and everyone who made last weekend’s visit a productive and enjoyable time. Continue to pray that God will bless this process and to lead Bethel and Pastor Bryan and his family.

SECURITY TEAM MEMBERS: We will have a brief meeting after the service this morning to review procedures for dealing with medical emergencies.

NO SUNDAY SCHOOL APRIL 3, 10, 17. Classes will resume April 24.

BACKPACK BUDDIES: Want to help? Bring a can or two of tuna next week and place it in the box marked Backpack Buddies. This is a community program to provide weekend food for eligible elementary students in the Lynden school district to tide them over the weekends. Questions? Ask Joan Vander Haak or Sue Meenderinck. Thanks so much.

CHURCH CAMPOUT: Don't forget to mark your calendars for Bethel church campout at Bryce Creek in Sumas August 26-28.
