PROFESSION OF FAITH CLASS: Pastor Steve will be hosting a profession of faith class. This class will have four sessions:

• Session 1: Celebrating what God has done in the students’ lives

• Session 2: Growing in a basic understanding of the Gospel

• Session 3: Growing in the ability to apply the Gospel to yourself every day in what you face

• Session 4: Growing in articulating the Gospel confidently

Each session will be from 4:00-5:00pm on the following Sundays: April 7, 14, 28, and May 5. Please contact pastor Steve by today if you are interested.

BLESSING SHOWER: Come celebrate God’s goodness to our church family! Ladies (young and young at heart) are invited to CELEBRATE LIFE & LOVE! We will "shower" our youngest member Caleb David Vos (son of Elaine and David Vos). We will also honor Brittany (Rutgers) Leach who married Chris Leach on August 5, 2018 and brides-to-be Stephanie Korthuis engaged to Derek Visser and Chloe Templin engaged to Jevin Holleman. We will celebrate these blessings on Sunday afternoon, April 7 from 2:30 - 4 pm. Blessing cards will be available on the library table so even if you are unable to come, we encourage you to write a note to each one. Place the completed cards in the basket provided. These cards can be a note of encouragement, a favorite verse or any bit of wisdom you would like to impart. You can bring a small gift if you choose, but there will be an opportunity to contribute to a group monetary gift. Please RSVP on the library table.

TUESDAY A.M. BIBLE STUDY: No meeting this week (April 2). Next week we plan to study our final lesson on Ecclesiastes (April 9), and then gather for our spring brunch on April 16 at 11:30 (at Carol’s home).

SEVENTH AND EIGHTH grade students are invited to play board games at the youth house this Thursday starting at 10 am. Lunch will be provided.

NO SUNDAY SCHOOL next week.

UPCOMING TOWN HALL: Based on encouraging feedback from last month, Council is holding the next town hall meeting on April 10, and we hope that you will all attend! This time we will start with a potluck dinner (time will be announced next week) and then split into age groups with a few specific questions for discussion. For the potluck, please bring a salad or dessert. Main dishes will be provided by hospitality committee and council members. A nursery will be provided during the meeting. Please contact Cheri Rutgers if you plan on bringing your children so she can have enough helpers available.

ADVANCE NOTICE: Vespers Service at Meadow Greens April 14, group one.

CHURCH DIRECTORY: You may still submit your information and/or pictures until April 2. If you need your picture taken we will be contacting you to arrange a time. Questions or comments can be directed to Dorothy Greenough or Sherry Vos.

CHURCH SECRETARY SUBSTITUTE NEEDED: If you would be willing to serve as a substitute church secretary when Sherry has time off, please contact a member of the Executive Committee (Ed Ball, Dick Drost, Ken Herwerden, Tim Holleman, Keith Korthuis, or Pastor Steve). Thanks!

ENVISION MINISTRIES: Copies of Envision Ministries newsletter are available on the narthex table.
