CONGRATULATIONS to Bob and Joan Vander Haak who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Aug. 11 and to Ken and Jan Herwerden who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Aug. 12! 

BETHEL CAMPOUT AT BRYCE CREEK: Congregation members who are interested in camping at Bryce Creek Campground in Sumas, Aug. 26-28, please email Tim and Tammy Holleman. We would like an idea of how many are camping for planning purposes. We will email more details and answer any questions once we have your contact information.

GEMS UPDATE: We anticipate starting our GEMS season on September 12, meeting twice a month (usually 2nd and 4th Mondays 7:00 - 8:30) through April. Also, we need counselors! Talk to Elaine if you would like to join the GEMS team this year. We'll need 2 more women or high schoolers to come alongside the girls' group to continue our program.

LIFE GROUPS: We are excited to start up Life Groups in September! If your group is no longer meeting or you would like to be in a group, please sign the sheet in the library by August 21! If you are currently in a group, you don't need to sign the sheet. Please direct any questions to Brent Van Dalen.

CHURCH MAILBOXES: The General Fund 2021-2022 Budget vs. Actual Summary and the 2021-2022 Financial Report are in your mailboxes today.  

OFFICE HOURS: Sherry’s office hours for the next two weeks will be Thursdays and Fridays, 8-12. She will continue to check and respond to email but the office will be closed on Tuesdays.
