Our Church Family

BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS to Joan Smits who will celebrate her 86th birthday on Saturday, March 6!

TODAY AT BETHEL: This morning we celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion. Jesus invites all who are weary and heavy laden to find rest in him. He invites the young, old, rich, poor, strong and weak—all who have faith in him to come to the feast and be nourished. The bread is gluten free.

SEASON OF LENT: We will be using our prayer of confession each week to center our hearts on repentance and grace-fueled changes of heart and actions. The purple sheet in the bulletin can be used at home for personal or family reflection. As we consider Christ’s great sacrifice, we can mourn our sin and find rest in His work.

SHINE will not meet this week and we will not have Sunday School next week.

NEXT SUNDAY Bethel will host a joint CRC service in the evening. Pastor Aaron Walters of The Table will be our guest minister. There will be a coffee time afterwards.

WOMEN OF BETHEL: You are ALL invited to join the GEMS and their MOMS on March 9 for our special Ladies of Bethel evening! There will be tasty food, fellowship, and all sorts of fun as we play Bunco together! You might even win a prize! Come from 7:00-8:30 to the basement. We can't wait to see everyone there!

REVITALIZATION UPDATE DINNER: The Council invites the congregation to a Revitalization Update potluck dinner and meeting on Wednesday, March 11. We will provide an update on what we've been working on and hopefully get some feedback as well. Dinner will start at 6 p.m. and the meeting will start around 7 p.m. Bring a salad or dessert if you can, but please join us either way! Childcare will be provided. See you then!

NEW ADDRESS: Joan Smits, see printed bulletin for new address and phone.

IN YOUR MAILBOX TODAY: The March-April nursery schedule.

MISSIONARIES: As we begin this Lenten season, please remember the missionaries we support as they serve far from loved ones and often in challenging circumstances.
