HAPPY 56TH BIRTHDAY to Annette Kooistra on Wednesday, March 30! Annette’s address is CHCC, 855 Aaron Dr., Rm 127A.

LENT: As we observe this season of Lent in the church calendar, we celebrate Jesus our Lord, and look to the cross, the place of redemption. In our liturgy, we will continue our focus on the Names and titles of Jesus—Who He is and what He does for us. Our weekly reflections grew out of our Sunday school curriculum “How Majestic Is Your Name,” that our 5th grade classes normally study. We pray that the glorious Christ will become even dearer to us, as we consider His attributes and exalt His name.

MARCH 28 OFFERING: Next week, the Lord willing, we will have our offering for Whatcom County Pregnancy Clinic (postponed from January). Thank you again for your participation in the baby bottle campaign!

ADMINISTRATOR STILL NEEDED: Bethel currently has no applicants for Administrator. The Administrator is a part-time paid staff position starting in July. He or she must be a member of Bethel or willing to become a member. Serving as Administrator would be a great opportunity to serve our church and its ministries! For more information or to apply, please contact the church office by March 29.

BETHEL CHURCH FAMILY: You are all invited to the GEMS & Friends Skating Party at Lynden Skateway on April 26, from 6:30-8:30. We will have the entire rink reserved just for our group! GEMS will pay for anyone to skate, but if you would like inline/speed skates, please bring $3. Masks are required, except when you are eating or drinking. The snack bar will be open for you to purchase food if you wish. No outside food is allowed, other than a water bottle. Even if you don't want to skate, you are welcome to come and spend some time in fellowship with the GEMS families and the family of Bethel CRC. Mark your calendars!

BETHEL MISSIONARIES: During this season of Lent, please consider emailing a note of encouragement to our missionaries as they work to share the story of Christ’s death and resurrection. (See printed bulletin for names and addresses.)
