WORLD HUNGER: The deacons invite you to join World Renew as they work alongside communities around the world to establish 'Uzima' during this year's World Hunger Campaign. Uzima, Swahili for life, captures the essence of life as God intended it to be. Through daily devotions and activities you can gather with your family to learn how God is working to move families beyond poverty and hunger and equipping them with skills to create a sense of wholeness for themselves, their family, and community. Devotionals have been placed in your mailbox to participate in the campaign over the next two weeks. We invite you to participate as we prepare for this World Hunger Sunday on November 4.

FILE CABINETS AVAILABLE: Bethel has six empty file cabinets available. Please talk to Alvin Vos or Karen Apol if you would like one.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS COMMITTTEE reminds all members and staff to make sure the church is locked when you leave in the evening. Marv does not always return at night to check and consequently doors are found unlocked or not properly latched in the morning! Please be diligent in this regard. Thank you.

MISSIONARY NEWSLETTER: Copies of Evy Smith’s latest newsletter are available for those who did not receive it electronically.

PLEASE REMEMBER our Bethel members, some of whom are unable to worship with us regularly, at Lynden Manor, Meadow Greens, Christian Health Care Center, Glorious Adult Family Home, and living at home. (Names in the printed bulletin.)
