- September 19, 2017 Broken To Be Built Up Can you imagine what it must feel like to be at the absolute bottom? Where it seems like everything that could go wrong actually goes wrong and every worst nightmare happens. To have everything stripped away and question why? To be in a walk with Christ one must truly be ready to engage in the trenches of battle in this thing called life and at any moment be prepared to endure some bruises along the way. But even more then bruises and scars one must all be willing to be totally broken down. This is not an easy task to take on because to be broken means to go without. Whether it's go without your health, money, sense of comfort, security, or even understanding. After all we are creatures that long for something whether tangible or intangible we need something to validate our lives. Without validation whether naturally or spiritually one can find themselves in this broken state. There is a blessing though, behind being broken. It is the process of being built back up. Once you're left with nothing and no options but to simply trust the God who created you it is at this moment that the remolding process can begin. After-all when it's all said and done after this temporary world is done away with and completely broken God will make everything brand new. I'm not just talking tape and band-aid I'm talking total reconstruction. So if you're at a place in life right now where it feels everything you've worked for or done has been completely demolished and you're in this state of brokenness remember once God removes the scrap all that's left is fresh material ready to be built the way He would have you turn out for Him. While it may be hard embrace the temporary broken state and be ready to be built up brand new for eternity. Isaiah 43:19, "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." ~Minister Poet~
