E-Blast Friday, May 19 - Note
Worship Notes for Sunday, May 21
Well, friends, just before Ann Keels left on Thursday afternoon she said, "Pastor Mary... don't forget to look at the E-Blast and change that picture..." "Of course, I will...," I said. Famous last words!
While it's not entirely a bad thing to wish our hard-working Mom's a happy Mother's Day two weeks in a row, this week we will be celebrating Ascension Day--the day that Jesus was taken up into heaven after the resurrection. This will get us ready for Pentecost Sunday next week on May 28th!
Our scripture focus for this week is Acts 1:6-14 & 1 Peter 4:12-14, 5:6-11.
Looking forward to worshiping with you on Sunday! Grace & Peace!
