September 12, 2021 Luke 15:1-10
Preparing For Company
I. ___________ lost people to _________ from Jesus.
Now the tax collectors and “sinners” were all gathering around to
hear Him. Luke 15:1
But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man
welcomes sinners and eats with them." Luke 15:2
II. _______________ the ___________ for lost people.
Then Jesus told them this parable: "Suppose one of you has a hundred
sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the
open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he
finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls
his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have
found my lost sheep.' Luke 15:3-6
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over
one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do
not need to repent. Luke 15:7
III. __________ lost people with your ____________.
"Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says,
'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.' Luke 15:8-9
In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels
of God over one sinner who repents." Luke 15:10
NEXT STEPS
1. Pray for, ask and pray regularly for the lost people
that God wants you to invite especially to Back To
Church Sunday. Learn to love the lost like Jesus. Don’t let fear or criticism detour what God desires.
2. Adjust your calendar to prioritize reaching the lost. Without Him, they are in danger of harm and some extremely negative consequences. Be an active part
of causing great rejoicing throughout all of heaven.
3. Allow God to use your maximum efforts in helping
lost people to have a chance to know Jesus as their
LORD and Savior. Prepare any area inside or out of
His house that needs attention. Volunteer to help.
Women's Small Group will meet on Tuesday, September 14th this week, due to the Board Meeting on Wednesday.
The excitement is building. Be a part of the excitement while we create a whole new look for the foyer!
Please pardon our appearance during this transformation.

We are looking for Greeters for Sunday mornings starting September 19th for Back to Church Sunday. Greeters will look a little different then in the past.
A Greeter's description is:
1. Create a welcoming environment.
2. Offer coffee and make connections.
Greeters offer guests coffee and make connections.
3. Make introductions.
Greeters introduce the guests to the teacher/leader of small groups and Sunday School Classes. It’s helpful if the greeter and group members are wearing name tags.
4. Provide Welcome packet materials.
These are located on the Welcome Center stand along with a bulletin
5. Introduce the pastor.
Before or after the worship service the greeter introduces the guests to the pastor and other staff members as appropriate. Our pastor and staff really appreciate this because it makes follow-up on their part much easier as they can now place a name and face. Greeters can be some of the most important people to Blue Rock!!
See Stephanie Doell if interested-bluerockstephanie@gmail.com.
There is a sign-up sheet on bulletin board outside office.
