Thanks Living
I. Thank God with your ___________ and __________.
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things
above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on
things above, not on earthly things. Colossians 3:1-2
For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ,
who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Colossians 3:3-4
II. Thank God with your ______________ and __________.
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. Colossians 3:5-6
You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice,
slander, and filthy language from your lips. Colossians 3:7-8
III. Thank God with your ____________ and ____________.
Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in know-
ledge in the image of its Creator. Colossians 3:9-10
Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian,
Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. Colossians 3:11
NEXT STEPS
1. Allow Jesus to give you a heavenly perspective on
things so that your feelings and thoughts are in line
with His. The Bible is His guide in this process and
one day you will be with Him face to face.
2. Trust God completely by obeying Him completely. If
we really love Him, then it will be evident in our
actions and our words. His Spirit lives in us and will
enable us to become more and more like Jesus.
3. Thanks living is full of honesty and integrity. God’s
people don’t flirt with lies like the rest of the world.
So, recognize the value God has given you and every
other believer that Jesus died for by accepting them.

Foyer Renovation Our foyer renovation is still a work in progress. Due to back orders and finding the proper items. We are hoping to be near or at full completion by the end of the year. Thank you to those who have made the kind comments on the work that has been done so far.
Thank You: Marty and I would like to thank everyone who shared kind words, cards, encouragement and gifts during Pastor Appreciation Month. We are so glad to be a part of such a generous church family. God bless you all. Pastor Greg and Marty
Tithing Boxes After an in-depth discussion to encourage online giving and to put in tithing boxes, the Executive Leadership Board decided to go with the tithing boxes instead of passing the plates. The ELB philosophy behind the boxes is that there will be an improved flow in the service and volunteers freed up to serve in other areas. This will start on January 1, 2022. However, the boxes will be installed soon and then could be used as people choose. But, we will transition to them completely as of the new year for all of our donations.
How to Give Online: We encourage you to begin giving through our new online giving platform, Faithlife Giving. It’s easy to make one-time and recurring gifts, plus view your giving history.
Simply go to www.bluerockchurch.org and click ‘giving’ in the top right corner of the webpage.
or text “Give” with the amount (e.g. “Give $50”) to 717-200-4911 and follow the prompts. For a recurring gift, you’ll need to create a Faithlife account so you can keep track of your giving methods.
Please contact the church office if you have any questions. Thank you for being part of what God is doing at Blue Rock Church!
Clearstream: Opt into the Blue Rock Church Wide text service for
updates on church services, new events, prayer requests and weather related matters.
With Winter Weather approaching, it will be the fastest and most accurate way for the church to communicate with the congregation.
Test Bluerock to 94000, you will receive a text back asking for your name to verify the number.
Something Exciting is coming, January 2022: Blue Rock’s monthly Newsletter! If you would like to receive the newsletter, please provide the office with your current updated email address. Let’s stay connected!
