GOD’S GIFT OF LOVE
I. God is _______________ about __________ the world.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to
come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to
save the world through Him. John 3:17
II. God is _____________ about ___________ in His Son.
Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of
God's one and only Son. John 3:18
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other Name under heaven
given to men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
III. God is _____________ about ___________ in His light.
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness
instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will
be exposed. John 3:19-20
But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.
John 3:21
NEXT STEPS
1. Accept God’s gift of love. It’s not just for other
people. It’s available for everyone. Share that truth
with those around you so they don’t miss His gift.
2. Recognize that to accept His gift you must have faith
in Jesus and His ability to forgive you completely.
Help others to know that Jesus loves them too.
3. Walk into the light of God’s Word so that He can
expose things that need to be changed by Him.
Continually trust in His grace to move forward.

Dear Blue Rock Church Family,
Marty and I would like to bring you up to date with our family during the Christmas season. So, we thought that we’d give you a snapshot of what’s going on.
Of course, we are blessed to have 3 adult children, their spouses and 9 grandchildren that keep us hopping and full of joy. It has been very different with Mandy moving to Florida with her husband, Rony and her 3 youngest children. But, we have managed to visit them once during a wedding I did for my niece in Tampa, Florida. Also, we’ve done a good bit of video phone calling. Adara, our 3 year old loves to talk to us and tell us what she’s doing and shows us her latest princess outfit. Mandy loves her job at Disneyworld and was chosen to sing at Epcot over the Christmas season. Marty and Mandy’s oldest daughter, Kyleigh are to be there for the performance on her birthday December 12th. Kyleigh is in a college level program called One Life and is enjoying it tremendously. Izayah messed up his wrist and had surgery this year while Zechariah broke his arm recently. Reilly didn’t return to Pitt-Johnstown, but he is going to start working as a security guard soon. While Zyan is finishing his senior year online with the Carlisle High School as he moved back with his dad.
Greta continues to teach English at Shippensburg High School. And, she loves the interactions with the students. Her son, Atlas attends Shalom Christian School where he is becoming a very good student of the Bible and his regular classes. He loves to spend time outside playing in the yard and singing songs like Waymaker with his daddy Bryan in the car rides to and from school. Bryan works from home for Letterkenny Army Depot.
Our son, Gregory has been promoted to a position that is right under one of the vice presidents of Phoenix Contacts, an electrical technology company near the airport in Harrisburg PA. His wife is a paralegal for attorneys on the other side of Harrisburg PA. Their children, Easton and Kambria attend a Christian school in Camp Hill PA. Easton has started karate and will soon try ice hockey as he follows in his father’s footsteps. Kammie is involved in ballet and loves to dress up like a princess. She’s also a bruiser at times.
Hoping that you enjoy your family’s celebrations on the birth of Jesus and
May you have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed new year!
Pastor Greg & Marty
