FACING THE FUTURE TOGETHER

God’s Grace Overflows

I.         God’s grace motivates _________ and _______________.

All the believers were one in heart and mind.  No one claimed that any of

his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.

                                                                                                     Acts 4:32

With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of

the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.        Acts 4:33

II.        God’s grace motivates _______________ and ________.

There were no needy persons among them.                     Acts 4:34a

For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles' feet, and it

was distributed to anyone as he had need.              Acts 4:34b-35

III.       God’s grace motivates ______________ and ________.

Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which

means Son of Encouragement),….                                          Acts 4:36

…sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles'

feet.                                                                                                     Acts 4:37

Announcements

VBS Meeting will be held February 22 at 6:30 pm.  This is the kick off meeting for VBS. We will need help in each area. Please try to attend this meeting if interested to give your best to this outreach. This is a time that we get the community children in the church for 5 days to teach them about Christ. It’s a fun and rewarding time! Any help is appreciated, even if it can’t be for the full week. If you have any questions, please see Stephanie Doell.

Mowery Offering is February 27th. Please mark your envelope for Mowery School and place is in the tithing boxes. This offering will be given to the Mowery staff and will be used to help with a need that a child or the school has. One previous item that a Blue Rock Donation has helped was to purchase a washer and dryer that is used in many ways: for autistic support classrooms and for the children that have accidents. They also loan out coats to children for recess, if they do not have one, and they are washed after use. Let’s join together to help our community kids!

Donations Needed: Prepackaged snacks for Blue Rock Kidz. Please mark Blue Rock Kidz on donation and drop in front office. Please no juices or high sugar items. Thank you!

End of the Year Accounting for the General Fund is available in the foyer.

Sound Techs Needed are needed for Sunday Morning Services. please see Pastor Greg, if interested.

Please Keep in Prayer that God will lift someone up to fill the open Executive Leadership Board Position. In the interim, Pastor Greg will be overseeing Worship along with his other duties.

Getting To Know You: We would like to introduce you to the congregation on the big screen with a picture and a short bio.

We also will be starting an online directory through our Faithlife service. This is a private directory for Blue Rock Church only. More information will follow.

Please see Pam Hinkle for sign up for a month this coming year!!

Tithing Boxes: Boxes are located on the wall inside the main entrance and at the back entrance to the sanctuary.

2021 Tithing/Offering Receipts will be available for pick up January 30th for those who have a numbered envelope, gave a check or marked cash. They will be available in the copy room office. Tithing/Offering receipts will be emailed to those with current email addresses. If you have any questions, please see Sherry Stitely for General Fund questions or Pam Hinkle for Property Maintenance, Special Projects or Christmas Gift for Jesus. Thanks.

How to Give Online: We encourage you to begin giving through our new online giving platform, Faithlife Giving. It’s easy to make one-time and recurring gifts, plus view your giving history.

Simply go to www.bluerockchurch.org and click ‘giving’ in the top right corner of the webpage.

or text “Give” with the amount (e.g. “Give $50”) to 717-200-4911 and follow the prompts. For a recurring gift, you’ll need to create a Faithlife account so you can keep track of your giving methods.

Please contact the church office if you have any questions. Thank you for being part of what God is doing at Blue Rock Church!

Clearstream: Opt into the Blue Rock Church Wide text service for

updates on church services, new events, prayer requests and weather related matters.

With Winter Weather approaching, it will be the fastest and most accurate way for the church to communicate with the congregation.
