LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE

Called To Hope

I.         Jesus will ____________ your _________.

Looking at His disciples, He said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.          Luke 6:20

Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.

                                                                                                                                                                                              Luke 6:21

II.       Jesus will ___________ your ________________.

Blessed are you when people hate you,  when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.                                                                                                                                                          Luke 6:22

Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.                                                                                                                                                                   Luke 6:23

III.      Jesus will ____________ His ___________.

But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort. Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.                                                        Luke 6:24-25

Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Luke 6:26

Next Steps

NEXT STEPS

1.      Recognize the poverty and hunger of your soul can only be satisfied with Jesus. So stop wasting time

running after the things of this world. Followers of Jesus will have their tears wiped away one day.

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”                                                                           Revelation 21:4

2.      Embrace the applause of heaven as Jesus did when He knew He was doing the will of His Father. Don’t  take personally the rejections of people. Pray for them and look forward to heavenly rewards.

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.                                    Hebrews 10:35-36

3.      Allow Jesus to judge the wicked in His time. Anyone who opposes our faith is really an enemy of Jesus by

their rejection of His truth and grace. Only those who die in their unforgiven sins are without hope.

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.   Anyone whose

name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire            Revelation 20:14-15
