This Week at Calvary!
Hi Calvary Family,
What a blessing it is to be at the start of another week! I pray that you were able to join us in some capacity yesterday, whether it was in-person or online. If you did join us you will remember that we explored the Call to Discernment in Matthew 7.
There were three postures we discovered when answering the call to discernment.
- The Proper Place for Discernment (Matt. 7:1-6)
- The Persistent Prayer for Discernment (Matt. 7:7-11)
- The Practical Proofs for Discernment (Matt. 7:12-47)
Together with these postures in place, we can answer the call for discernment.

I want to encourage you this week to be in prayer for how God may be calling you to discernment. Are you practicing these postures? Are you too caught up in work and life that you have become less attuned to what God might be calling you to? Take this week to posture yourself to receiving the call of discernment!
