• Happy Easter week everyone! I'm looking forward to our Good Friday service this Friday at 6pm and our Easter Service on Sunday at 10:45am. We will have an Easter egg hunt in the back field around 10 on Sunday. See you this week!
    1. I am assuming we are not doing coffee time this Sunday - rightfully so.
    2. That is correct

    Town Hall Meeting Agenda

    Hello Cornerstone!

Here are a few reasons for the Town Hall and what we plan to talk about.

    1. Fellowship--We haven't shared a meal as a church since March of 2020. We want to spend some time together safely.
    2. Finances--We will share where we are and how God has provided for us.
    3. Survey—We will discuss the results of the survey mailed out by Paul Thomas.
    4. Family--We will talk about how we can care for each other better. We will talk together about ideas for connecting with those who haven't made it back to church. We strategize to show compassion to those who are hurting in our church community.
    5. Missions--We will share the Hungary Missions trip and an update on Madeline Hooks and what God is doing in her life.
    6. Coronavirus--We will talk about where we are with this.
    7. Ministry--We will talk about restarting children's ministry and our upcoming Easter services.
    8. Thrivent Grants--We will brainstorm how we can use these grants to serve our community.
    9. Questions --We will talk about any other CBC questions you may have.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the meeting on Sunday! Feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions.

    In Christ,

    Daniel Bryan, Pastor

    1. This almost made me cry… Last Sunday I gathered a group of parents and interested children’s church workers together to talk about how we could possibly get children’s ministry going again. Left and right these women came up with some incredible solutions for getting things started again. One of the solutions involved converting our meeting room/library at the church into a nursery/teaching area. We needed to make this change so some of our generous older volunteers could get to a nursery that doesn’t involve going downstairs. I’ve been struggling all week to make time to get over here and get this room cleaned out and then hopefully start working on making it look nice for the kids. It’s really been on my heart to make sure this happens. Then I walked into the room just now to see it look so beautiful and ready for little ones. Thanks to whoever did this work. I can’t wait to see how God works through the loving workers at Cornerstone to disciple our kids.
      1. As I drove out my farm lane between the corn fields heading out to Thursday Morning Men’s Bible Study before Dawn, the nearly full Moon was hovering in the clear, pitch black sky emanating a glowing deep yellow luminescence that struck me with awe. I arrived early to make coffee and as it was brewing I pulled up my Bible Ap to read my Daily Bible Verse. It was Psalm 19:1, which says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” ‭‭Now tell me, if you can World, how could Evolution or random luck happenstance absent of any Supreme Intellect or “Creator” arrange for that moment to speak to my heart and show me that He exists?
        1. Please pray.

Pray for Isabelle that God would give an answer.
