  • CONVERSATION # 1 - The Eternal God-Head

    Genesis 1:26 NLT
    Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
    Genesis 1:28 NLT
    Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”
    Genesis 1:29–30 NLT
    Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. And I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground—everything that has life.” And that is what happened.

    The Crowning Act of God’s Creation:

    Man and Woman are a SPECIAL Act of Creation (Genesis 1:26)
    Man and Woman are given TOTAL AUTHORITY Over the Earth (Genesis 1:26; Genesis 9:1-2)
    Man and Woman are Created in HIS IMAGE (Genesis 1:27)
    Man and Woman are DIRECTLY BLESSED by the Divine Creator (Genesis 1:28)
    Man and Woman are COMMANDED BY GOD to be FRUITFUL and MULTIPLY (Genesis 1:28)
    Fill the Earth
    Subdue the Earth
    Given Created Plant life for Food (Genesis 1:29) (Later Animal also added in Genesis 9:1-3)

    The Master’s Mind for Marriage

    Marriage Meets the Core Need for COMPANIONSHIP
    God Calls LONELINESS (Lack of Companionship) “NOT GOOD” (Genesis 2:18)
    Genesis 2:18–20 NLT
    Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” So the Lord God formed from the ground all the wild animals and all the birds of the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would call them, and the man chose a name for each one. He gave names to all the livestock, all the birds of the sky, and all the wild animals. But still there was no helper just right for him.
    The Woman is Taken From Man (Genesis 2:21-23)
    Genesis 2:21–23 NLT
    So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the Lord God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man. “At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’ ”
    Man and Woman are created to COMPLEMENT, COMPLETE and CARE for one-another (Genesis 1:27)
    Characteristics of the Master’s Design for Marriage (Genesis 2:24-25):
    Intimacy (Naked, One Flesh, No Shame) That COMPLEMENTS and COMPLETES
    PRIMARY among all human relationships (FIRST in order, Primary in SIGNIFICANCE)
    PERMANENT and SEPARATE from all others (the Hebrew for “leave...” means FORSAKE)
    ONENESS (Partnership; “Joined” “United)
    PRIVATE Kingdom of SIGNIFICANCE and SECURITY

    Marriage is the ONLY Institution Established by God PRIOR to the Fall of Mankind. It is the sole foundation for all human social interaction, relationship, expression of love & Intimacy.
    Marriage precludes all other social institutions, even Biblically, and stands alone as the keystone for God’s Purpose for Mankind.
    Marriage must remain the most sacred and protected of all human relationships. It must occur only between ONE man and ONE woman who willingly bond together in a permanent manner.
    Marriage alone is the Creator’s Design for the Earth to be filled (pro-creation); the earth to be controlled (subdued) and for the expression of total human intimacy & relationship.
    Because God has instituted Marriage, Christians MUST declare that:
    that marriage is a sacred and honorable estate, not lightly entered into, but once entered, to be generally considered a PERMANENT relationship.
    sexual expression before and outside the marriage bond is sin. (known as fornication & adultery)
    that rape, incest, homosexual sex (sodomy) & bestiality are wicked and not part of God’s expressed purpose for sexual intimacy
    that all forms of fornication, adultery and sexual perversion seek to replace God’s plan for marital intimacy and thus should have no place in society as a whole.
