Chinook Alliance Church
September 6, 2020

We are open for public worship gatherings! Sermons will be posted on the website and YouTube channel as well.

Facial coverings are now mandatory in MT counties with four or more active COVID-19 cases. They are not currently required in Blaine county but feel free to wear one if you feel more comfortable doing so!

The Global Impact Conference will be September 27-29. Our International Workers this year will be Randy and Deanna Harrison. The Harrisons serve with the Alliance in Cote d’Ivoire, Africa. They are professors at FATEAC, the West Africa Alliance Seminary. Randy teaches in the New Testament department and Deanna in the Practical Theology department. More details to come, but please pray and save these dates in your calendar.

We are working on updating our church directory. If there are any changes, omissions, errors, etc., please let us know. You can use the connection card on this e-bulletin or send us an email at chinookalliancechurch@gmail.com with the updated information.

Heilig's have been released from their old lease and are settling into their new place! Their new address is 7001 Lamar Ave., Overland Park, KS 66204. They thank us for our prayers!

If you are not receiving emails, try checking your junk folder as they may be going there instead of your inbox. If you would like to be on the email list, you can fill out the connection card at the bottom of the bulletin.

If anyone is in need of assistance, feel free to reach out! You can reach Pastor Ritch by phone at 405-880-1266 or by email at inpursuitofgod@outlook.com.

If you would like prayer, or have questions, or just need to talk, please contact Ritch Grimes at 405-880-1266 or just stop by the Annex and see if he is in.

James 1:9-11

Wisdom Brings to the Poor Believer a New Sense of Worth

  •  They learn that they matter in the church
  •  They learn that they matter in the world
  • They learn that they matter to God

Wisdom Brings to the Rich Believer a New Sense of Reality

  •  The great peril is that wealth can give them a false sense of security
  •  Nature teaches them that changes in life can remove security in a moment
  • They are only wise if they put their trust in things they cannot lose
