"Everybody Clap Your Hands" P. Gray
Leader: Jesus brought healing love to all people.
People: They talked and marveled about his miracles.
Leader: But they really didn’t understand him.
People: They wanted the healing, but not necessarily a change in their lives.
Leader: Jesus brings us transforming compassion.
People: Lord Jesus, keep our minds and our spirits open to your life-changing words. AMEN.
Lord, you know how great our needs are. In these difficult times when families are experiencing great stress, come and bring your healing love to us. Help us to place our trust in you. Remind us again of how you transform lives, not just with healing, but with a spirit of hope and compassion. Keep us hopeful. Teach us not to give up when things are going wrong. Give us faith that can move mountains. Give us hearts that are ready to be of service to others in all times and in all places.
Bless us O Lord, with a good measure of courage and strength that we may truly serve you. In your mercy and love, help us to reach out to others as you have reached out to us. Enable us to be people of compassion and trust; for we ask these things in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
All: Amen.

What is The Apostles' Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Amen.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen. Amen.

It is a season of expectation and anticipation, preparation
and contemplation. It is four weeks of preparing our hearts

Beginning November 30th, we will have a family to light the
Advent candles on each of the Four Sundays in Advent and read scriptures as part of the Advent Liturgical Celebration.

The Angel Tree program is designed to provide gifts to children as a token of love. It was specifically designed for children of persons that are inmates within a prison facility. This year we will follow the same guidelines as proposed by Prison Fellowship for the national Angel Tree Program. Gifts will be purchased and distributed accordingly.
- Item #1: Each child will receive two (2) gifts: one article of clothing and one toy, or fun item specifically requested by child.
- Item #2: All gifts should cost $20 to $30. Additional Information will be posted in next week’s bulletin.
Most of the requests are posted online and the link has been emailed to most of you and is posted below. Those that would like to take your tag online feel free to do so until Nov 24th . Please do not take any online tags after that date.
Please, when you take a child’s name, purchase both gifs. His name is in duplicate to ensure this. Gifts should be returned NLT Dec 8 (wrapped and placed in one bag if possible) for distribution on Dec 13.
