Things are looking more and more dark every day, my spirit discerns huge tests of faith ahead. Does anyone else see of feel the same as I?
    1. Hi Robert, this is KJ from the CMF home office. The world does indeed look darker and darker everyday but we can have peace because Jesus warned us that the world would become dark and there will be "wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places...." (Matthew 24:6-7) But Jesus is faithful and he has also promised us that we would not be left alone... "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” (John 14:1-4) And Jesus has given us His words so that we may have peace even though there will be many tribulations. Be of good cheer, because no matter the trials or dark days on earth, Jesus has overcome the world! (John 16:33) Please know that the CMF staff will be praying for you!
    2. Hi Robert, this is Dan Cartwright, long time CMFer and retired Spec Opns type. I do believe your discernment of darker days ahead accompanied by huge tests of faith ahead is spot on, and according to what the Bibles teaches us about ever-increasing lawlessness in the last days. In the same section of Scripture that Kathi Joe mentioned we are told " And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.  And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.  But the one who endures to the end will be saved." Matt 24:11-13 I just finished a study of the book of James, which is all about tests of genuine faith. Very timely. Genuine believers will pass those tests and in the "evil day" will stand (Eph 6). BTW, nice to meet you.
