Happy Father's Day! We celebrate all the father figures in this church family!

Some of you are raising children of your own, and others have stepped up to care for kids that are not your own. We know that fatherhood, just like motherhood, can be a complex and painful topic at various points in our life for different reasons. We each have unique relationships with our dads and a day like today can bring up many mixed thoughts and feelings.

To those of you in this church body who are caring for and raising up the next generation, we are thankful for you! Dads, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, foster parents...we have a small gift for you! Feel free to grab one as you head out tonight, and stick around for root beer floats, too!

We are a MISSIONAL community.

We want to join with God in His Purposes of restoring all people and all things to Himself.  We have all been “called out” to live for God’s purposes together.

Tonight we'll hear an update from our featured missionaries for the month about what they've been up to.

During the month of June, after our Sunday worship we'll be heading over to Huset Park to prayer walk around the space in preparation for Church in the Park. We'll use this time to pray over our summer in the park and listen to what the Lord is saying about it!

Speaking of the park...mark your calendars for July 3, our first Sunday at Huset! We'll be meeting outside at Huset Park every Sunday from July 3 - September 4. Dinner will be potluck style -bring something to share each week (bring enough for yourself + the people coming with you...if everyone does that we'll have enough for everyone!).

We'll eat together, worship through music, read our Scripture passage for the week, and then break up into discussion groups (elementary aged kids will have their own discussion and activities). Start spreading the word!

If you haven't yet, make sure to fill out this survey with your preferences and availability for serving this summer.

On Sunday, June 26, we'll be having a Licensing Ceremony for Chaplaincy for Agnesgrace! We'll also be commissioning her as Elder Emeritus. Plan to be here that Sunday as we recognize and celebrate how God has used Agnesgrace in this church family and beyond.

Dinner on June 26 will begin at 4:30 pm so that there is plenty of time to chat and visit with Agnesgrace before we move into the sanctuary.

Summer Camps at Sand Hill Lake are coming up soon! Check out details and register HERE. Family Camp is a free-will offering, and prices for kids/youth camps will be increasing on July 1.

The youth group is now meeting on Saturdays! Youth group gatherings will be every Saturday in the church building from 10-11:30 am. On July 9, the youth group will be welcoming in youth entering 6th grade! Any youth entering 6th grade are encouraged to attend on this date and all following youth group gatherings as well.

"Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. When we live and give generously to God and His kingdom work it is worship...it centers our lives on what's eternal...it invests in things that have greater return on investment than anything we could strategize ourselves...and in the process God promises to provide for our own needs as well when we trust him with our finances and our well-being.
