Fresh Eyes for Your Faith
January 26, 2020

1 Peter 3:15 encourages every believer to “worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.” (NLT)

The big question for all of us is whether or not we really are ready to give everyone, or even anyone, the answer when asked what we really do believe about the Lord and why we believe it. Do we actually know what we believe and why?

This Sunday we will challenge ourselves to take a fresh look at the questions of what we believe and why we believe it because, at the end of the day, have we done all that we can to know the reason for this hope in Jesus Christ?

Please join us at 10:45 this Sunday as we cover the topic of “Fresh Eyes for Your Faith” and I am certain that we will all leave church challenged and excited to dig deeper into the truth and the assurance of our faith.

Have a great rest of the week and I’ll see you soon!

This is the fourth official notice of our Annual Church Business Meeting to be held on Sunday, February 2nd, at the end of our morning service. We will be presenting our report for 2019 and choosing two new SCC Board Members from the following Nominees: David Boland, Bob Bonner, Nathan Rico and Gabriel Torres

Our adults have begun a new video series called “Killing Kryptonite” and you for sure do not want to miss it! If you have ordered the book for this series, your copy is available in the lobby today.

Now, giving can take seconds—and isn’t limited to Sunday mornings. It’s a cinch to set up recurring gifts, which means you’ll have a more predictable budget. Plus, you can choose to cover the transaction fee.
