Dan holds a PhD from University of Aberdeen, ThM and MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, BSci in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and is currently obtaining a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from New Way Ministries.
Dan has published multiple books, including Undefended: Discovering God when Your Guard Is Down (2017), Live in Liberty: The Spiritual Message of Galatians (2016), Embracing God as Father: Christian Identity in the Family of God (2016). He is the editor of John Webster’s Confronted by Grace: Meditations of a Theologian (2015), has been a guest blogger on the Lexham Press, FaithLife, and KeyLife blogs, and is currently working on a title for Lexham Press tentatively titled Standing Firm: A Spiritual Commentary on 1 Peter.
Although an avid fan of Detroit sports, Dan currently resides in northern Kentucky (15 miles south of Cincinnati) with his daughter and dog. There he is planting a grace-centered church and teaching as an adjunct assistant professor of Religion and Philosophy for Shaw University in Raleigh, NC.
