April is here and this month we celebrate the passion, crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The world is still in much turmoil with over a month of war in western Europe. However, during times of great challenge people ask questions a lot and that means opportunities to share Jesus. God is still working to redeem the lost and encourage the disheartened. As you and I live out our daily lives we are constantly surrounded by people who do not know the Lord yet. Or they may have a history of walking with Jesus but have gotten away from a church relationship with other believers that Jesus intended for his followers. We have been encouraging our folks to be highly aware of making disciples. This month would you join me in an endeavoring to be bold for Jesus with your faith?
We have church cards for you to carry wherever you go. Take 10 at a time and see what God will do with a simple tool. Take these cards and begin spiritual conversations. Just pull out a card and write your name on the back of it and invite them to connect with any of the times we gather throughout the week. Would you help share Him?
With Easter just a few days away on April 17th we need to be inviters to those who are not connected. Many are willing to come but need a clear and simple invitation. One person I know changed the way he answered the simple question: "How are you doing today?” Instead of saying "fine", he now says, “I am fine as I am saved by God’s grace and how are you doing?” I’ve tried this myself this past month and often I get a reply of "me too". Other times it opens the conversation to more questions.
PRAY, INVITE, START SPIRITUAL CONVERSATIONS, BE BOLD WITH YOUR FAITH.
