  • Monday Update on Sky: Sky is doing great. Probably will come off the vent today. Heart is doing good. Kidney is picking up, it was lagging a little. There was a concern last evening about the gases building up and damaging lungs. With kidney beginning to function, that concern is less. We also prayed God would breathe HIS breath into Sky. Thanks for praying.

    1. Not sure who see what but here's an update on Sky. Her kidney transplant went smoothly. Now she's on the road to recovery. LONG road but God is watching over her. Praying she knows Jesus as her Savior and Lord. Thank you for your prayers and for walking the rollercoaster journey with me. God bless you ❣️

      1. UPDATE! Granddaughter, Sky's Heart transplant was complete around 1:30 am! Doctor reported it went great! Thank You Jesus! ❣️ Kidney transplant will take place in the morning. Words cannot express how much I appreciate your prayers! God bless you 💕

            1. Whoa! What a storm yesterday afternoon! We lost several trees on our campus, the new metal Upward shed was destroyed, and signs and other amenities were blown over or destroyed. If you have time to come help clean things up, that would be fantastic!

              1. Did anyone else see the awesome light show last night? I let Humphrey out about 8:30 p.m. and off behind the foothills (telegraph pass) it looked like there were flashes of lightning, one right after another, I'd guess a second or less apart! I've never seen lightning that way before but it was pretty spectacular! I am so thankful there was not thunder with it!

            2. Prayer Request: Mario P's mother Annette in Pennsylvania fell, and is in the hospital with a medically induced coma. They are going to begin the proccess of waking her up over the next few days. Please pray that God be with her over these next few important days. Pray for healing for Annette and for comfort for her family.

              1. Please be in prayer for Kim Lindner, who has been at YRMC since Sunday with a kidney infection. With full stage AML cancer, he is feeling especially discouraged today, so in addition to healing his body, we pray for encouragement for him and those around him!
