      L.D. Spears is in the hospital with an infection near his spine. They are trying to treat the infection with antibiotics so that surgery will not be necessary. Please pray for his comfort and healing.

        Please pray for Beverly Jackson's brother-in-law who had to have his leg amputated due to poor blood flow.

          My mom was issued a walker yesterday. She was able to walk over 50 feet. Thank you for praying for her recovery. God is very gracious!

            I would like to thank all of you who have been praying for my mom after her stroke last Tuesday. They have determined that her treatment does not include surgery but there will be a good deal of rehabilitation necessary to get back as much function on her left side as possible. Please continue in prayer for her recovery.

              Clara Jackson fell through her porch today and broke her left ankle in two places and her right leg below the knee. She is in LC Memorial awaiting a CT scan to determine if surgery is needed.

              1. Clara is having surgery this morning on her right leg today.

              2. Clara is being moved to clearsky rehab in Leesville this afternoon.

              Urgent Prayer Need: Sam Jackson (Clara's husband) is being taken from DeRidder ICU to St. Pat's in Lake Charles with pneumonia and internal bleeding from stomach ulcers.

                Continued prayers needed for my mom. The biopsy from a spot in her upper left lung was determined to be cancer. Please pray for the wisdom and skill of the doctors to know how to treat it. And for peace and comfort for my mom and family.

                  Pray for the family of Charles Shirley. (Sharon Thibodeaux's brother) He passed away this past Thursday after a heart attack on June 25th.

                  1. The funeral will be this coming Tuesday (July 6th) in Leesville

                  From Tessa's Facebook post last night. "UPDATE / PRAISE REPORT: Heart surgery is complete and we got to see our girl. The surgeon repaired/closed the 3 known defects of her heart and discovered 3 additional abnormalities while in surgery. 2 of the abnormalities are not causing any problems with the functioning of her heart, only the structure, so no repair was needed, but he also found an aneurysm which he repaired to prevent rupture in the future. The support and prayers from everyone have been overwhelming in the best way, and I could never fully express how much we truly appreciate each and everyone who has prayed for our sweet girl. I Praise Jesus for continuing to answer our prayers and continued prayers for our Florence Elizabeth “Lizzie” are always appreciated!
