EMMANUEL EXISTS AS A REACHING MINISTRY:
REACHING UP TO GOD IN WORSHIP, REACHING IN TO ONE ANOTHER FOR EDIFICATION AND ENCOURAGEMENT, REACHING OUT TO THE WORLD WITH CHRIST’S LOVE
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Welcome to Emmanuel; let's give thanks to the Lord for He is good! This moment in Scripture brought together Egyptians, Canaanites, and God's people to observe solemnities for Jacob. Jacob's burial pointed to his confident hope of resurrection. So in a way, God was foreshadowing the Gospel which is the power of God unto salvation for both Jew and Greek. There are other hints in this passage that point to the message of the cross. The threshing floor of Atad is a very big one.
