TODAY’S MESSAGE: Welcome to Emmanuel; we are so glad you are here to worship with us today! The Lord is not only concerned with physical healing, but also emotional. We see the Lord repairing some relationships in this passage. Not only that, but Joseph gives us the thought that allowed him to flourish as a believer. "For am I in the place of God?" he said. Our Lord gives the companion thought to this thought in Matthew 18, in the parable of the man who was forgiven much. Although we are not in God's place to punish sin through wrath, we are called to forgive as God has forgiven us.
