Urgent Call to Prayer: Sue Lumpkin has just called to request prayer for her grandson Patrick. He is currently being admitted to Baptist South with severe dehydration and other complications of Type I diabetes.

Jimmy Baughman asks us to lift him up in prayer following a minor injury at work yesterday. He has returned to work with light duty and a bit of soreness and inflammation.

An urgent call to prayer: Lisa Elliot asks us to pray for her daughter Amanda Wright who was just placed on a ventilator with severe complications to COVID-19 after collapsing in the ER at Russell Medical Center. O2 was 50 and glucose 600+ before she was placed on the vent. Pray without ceasing! To survive this crisis; for a complete healing, for an open ICU bed in a reasonable driving radius. Let’s lift up Makayla (sp?) and Lisa too! Standby for updates.

Please be in prayer for Rev. Alan Gantzhorn (Eufaula First UMC, former Demopolis DS) and his wife, Jackie. Alan suffered a heart attack during worship August 22. He was flown from Eufaula Hospital to Montgomery where he received two stents. He is currently in Baptist South, Montgomery. His prognosis is good, and he may be released in the next couple of days. Keep Alan, Jackie, and his medical team in your prayers.

Prayer request- Chanda Houts asks us to join in praying for her aunt, Goldie Maxwell who was just diagnosed with leukemia yesterday.

Jennifer’s Dad did not go into surgery until late afternoon. Yesterday evening Jennifer reported that his surgery was uneventful and that he was recovering nicely. He will remain in the hospital a day or two. Let’s continue to pray for a smooth recovery.

Jennifer Moore asks that we join in prayer for her Dad this morning. He is a patient at Elmore County Hospital. They anticipate a gallbladder surgery today.

From Brandy Vittore: an immediate call to prayer for Bo & Mandy Parker. They were in a car accident in Sylacauga yesterday & both have extensive injuries. Bo is currently having surgery on his broken back right now & Mandy will be having surgery on her fractured vertebrae later today.

Urgent call to prayer: Frank Thomas has asked us to join in prayer for his grandson Jackson. Jackson passed out at school this morning and is on the way to the emergency room.
