Join us for Lord's Day Worship this Palm Sunday morning at 9:30. The sermon passage is Mark 11:1-11. The responsive reading is Psalm 37:25-29 and the Old Testament reading is Zechariah 9:9-12.

The Kids' Choir will be singing this Sunday morning. Please have children to church and in the fellowship hall to warm up and practice by 9:15.
The Kids' Choir will also be singing one song in the Easter Cantata next Sunday.
We will be observing the Lord's Supper on April 1 at our Maundy Thursday service. We will gather at 7:00 in the evening. The scripture passages will be Exodus 24:3-11, Psalm 116:12-19, and Mark 14:12-26.

There will be a Red Cross blood drive at our church on Monday, March 29 from 12:30-6:30. Please call Betty at 507-227-8416 or fbhuisken@gmail.com to make or confirm an appointment. There is a constant need for blood. Every two seconds someone/somewhere in the U.S. needs blood. Anyone 17 years or older and in good health is able to donate.
Maundy Thursday Gathering at our church. Guest speaker: Shelley Brouwer author of “Because She Was” Shelley is the daughter-in-law of Larry & Sandy Brouwer. She will talk on being a mother to a child born with disabilities and cognitive delays and their 22 years together. Shelley will also speak on her journey to Christianity. Offering will go to the “Royal Family Kids”.
Profession of Faith: A Profession of Faith class for students will begin on April 11 and will meet for five weeks after worship until May 9. There will also be a special final class to watch the movie "Spirt and Truth" at the parsonage on the evening of May 16. We will also be offering a three -week Profession of Faith class for adults interested in becoming church members starting after worship on May 16. Anyone who would like to be a part of these classes should speak to Pastor Mark or one of the elders.
Coffee Break: All women are cordially invited to join the Edgerton Coffee Break group on March 31 at 9:30am in the Fellowship Room at First Christian Reformed Church. Greg Kuiper will be giving a presentation on the medical aspects of the crucifixion and death of Jesus, helping us to gain a deeper appreciation of what Jesus endured to make it possible for each of us to enjoy new life in Him. Nursery and Story Hour will be provided and brunch will be served.
Hope Haven, Inc. will host their Annual Benefit Auction of Friday, April 9 at Te Slaa Trucking in Hull, IA (corner of 75 & 18). Help support the local and global ministries of Hope Have through this exciting evening of fun and fellowship.
