WOMEN’S RETREAT | The Women’s Retreat will take place September 16-18, 2022, at Miracle Bible Camp in Hackensack, MN. The cost is $100 for the weekend. This is a great time with the Lord, while developing stronger relationships with ladies and enjoying God’s country. Sign up at the table in the back.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR | Lawrence and Ashley Klingsheim have prayerfully accepted the call to join our ministry. Lawrence will partner with Pastor Marlin, as our Associate Pastor, focusing on ministry to families and young adults. Please be in prayer, as we work out the logistics of their transition to the Iron Range and to their new ministry.

BAPTISM SERVICE | We will have a second baptism service this summer. It will be on Thursday, September 1 at 5:00 pm. If God is prompting you to proclaim your salvation through baptism, contact Pastor Marlin.

CAMP SUNDAY | On Sunday, August 21, we will celebrate God’s work at camp and hear testimony from counselors we supported.

MINISTRY NEEDS | There are still vacancies to be filled in a couple of our ministry teams. The Nursery team is looking for volunteers to work with our youngest attendees on Sunday mornings. The Media/Projection Team is looking for those to serve operating the overhead lyric projection and soundboard areas. Training is available. For nursery, see Nicole Schroeder or Lorenda Daugherty. Prayer Requests for Adam and Jenny Roub, CRU:

·  For the lessons and disciples we developed in our 2 month Sabbatical to translate to the ministry year.

·  Pray for the start of our campus year and for all the preparations and planning that still need to be done. Here are the key dates this year:

◦ Aug 18-20: Student leaders return for our kick off retreat and overnight.

◦ Aug 22nd: Students on the Iron Range start class.

◦ Aug 24-28: UMD move-in weekend.

◦ Sept 2-6: UWS and CSS move-in weekend.

·  For our many move-in activities and connection events as students return to campus.

·  Spiritual protection for our family, our students, and our staff team.

Praises to the Lord: A great summer sabbatical; the CRU 22 Conference – God used this time to speak to us, realign our ministry, and reconfirm our calling; opportunities to connect as a family and enjoy each other this summer.
