Good Afternoon Ephesus Family, I have a very needed prayer request to share with you all this afternoon. The Doctor has found more infection in David Harper's foot. He is being admitted to the hospital this afternoon and will be undergoing surgery at some point in the day tomorrow. David is very nervous about going in hospital in general. Please pray for David to be calmed by the presence of the Holy Spirit, that God would protect him from other infections and allow the surgeon to remove all the infection so that David's foot can begin to heal. Pray for the Harper family as they have had a lot going on recently and could all use your prayers. Until He Comes, Pastor Wayne.

Good Evening Ephesus Family,   I have a couple of immediate prayer concerns to share our prayer warriors tonight! First, Margie Collie has asked us to be in prayer for her brother, Preston Sherrod, age 74. He was admitted to the ICU at Rex Hospital on Thursday with heart-related issues. They are continuing to do testing to determine the problem. He is not feeling well and could really use our prayers and prayers for his family as well. (On a side note: Margie has been recovering from non-Covid Pneumonia over the last week. She is doing much better, but could still use our prayers as she continues to improve.)   Second, Brenda and Floyd Yde and their could use our prayers today as well. Floyd's health is not good, hospice has been ministering to their family. There are other needs as well, the prayer committee will inform more on those needs through our Facebook prayer group. Please be in prayer for this family as they go through a difficult time.  I hope you all enjoy the rest of your evening. I look forward to gathering with you tomorrow morning as we seek to God's will for our life together. God bless you all. Joyfully His,   Pastor Wayne

One of our sister churches is in need of prayer. One of their youth was in a serious accident with a school bus this morning. The young lady has been life flighted to Wake Med and is in intensive care. Please pray for everyone involved. Pray for wisdom, healing, and comfort.

Update on Scott Skinner's mother. Rose Marie Skinner passed away this afternoon at Washington Memorial Hospital. Please keep the Skinner's in your prayers. They have asked for no phone calls this evening as they are trying to discuss things and grieve together as a family.

Good Afternoon Ephesus Family,  We had a great time of worship this morning. It was such a blessing to see so many hanging around after the service to fellowship and enjoy one another's company. Following the service, I received an urgent request for prayer from Scott and Connie Skinner. They got word that Scott's mother, Rose Marie Coppedge Skinner, was being taken by EMS to Washington Memorial Hospital. They don't know any further details at this time, other than Scott's mother coded on the way back from a short trip to the beach. They are on their way to the hospital at this time. Please be in prayer for their safety as well as for Scott's mother and her family. We serve a great God who wants to hear us praying for each other, please lift this need up now and throughout the day. I will send another message out after I learn more about the situation. Love you all!  Until He Comes,  Pastor Wayne

Please keep BJ Lewis(Arellano) in your prayers. She taught both my girls in kindergarten at Nashville Elementary and is currently hospitalized with Covid pneumonia (she is only about 45 yrs old). Her two daughters are at home and have tested positive as well, they are 6th & 9th graders, I believe. BJ’s boyfriend is a truck driver and is risking his health to stay home and care for the girls while BJ is hospitalized. Please keep all four of them in your prayers! ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Dear Ephesus Family,  Sue Staton has requested that we send our the following prayer request.  "It has become necessary for us to move Dennis' mother Shirley to a different facility. We will be moving her to Trinity in Nashville tomorrow afternoon. We went today and met her roommate. After talking with her we feel that this will be a good situation for Shirley. This is a smaller facility and we feel that she will get better care. Please pray that the transition will go smoothly for Shirley without her becoming upset or agitated. Also pray that Dennis and Sue will get a good night's sleep so that they will have the strength to take care of Shirley. We are blessed to be a part of this church family. May God bless each of you." In Christian love,  Dennis and Sue.  Continue to pray for everyone during the Coronavirus Pandemic. God is in control!  Pray for each other, look out for each other, and love each other!  Joyfully His,  Pastor Wayne
