  • I just received word from Jordan Rittmeyer that Josh Spier, who is the pastor at Gunnison Valley, and his family are in Georgia for his grandfathers funeral. And, last night his grandmother on the other side was killed in a house fire. Please pray for our brother and his family and the loss they are experiencing.

    2. Wow! I'm shocked. Prayers for Josh and his family, the loss of the grandmother in a fire! So close to the funeral of his own grandfather. Praying for all involved may the comfort of Christ surround them.🙏🙌

  • Tomorrow (Sunday, June 11th) is our Big Palisade Youth Event with the Indiana Youth Group. We leave by 1pm from the church! Remember to bring a lunch 🥪 , water 💧 bottle , sunscreen 🧴 , swimsuit , towel, hat 🧢

      This Sunday, the Indiana Missions youth team and Catalyst Youth Group will be going to Palisade Lake at 1pm. Students will need to bring a lunch, water bottle, swimsuit, towel, and chair(optional). There will be transportation, but if parents want to drop off their student that is fine as well! It will be a great time to get acquainted with other Christian youth!

      1. Anyone willing to pick up us up at 10 PM from SLC airport on June 14 or in the morning of June 15 from nearby there? Or we can take a train down to Provo? Bryan does not have enough seats in his car with him and Jarrod, nor does our Jeep. Call me - 435-609-0286. Thanks family. funeral went okay. Trying to get my dad set up to be okay after we leave and still show Addie a few happy memories while we are here. Missing you all and can’t wait to get home.

        Rise Up Youth Night has been sadly cancelled. The three other churches invited weren't able to join us this weekend so since the point was to gather many youth groups together, we thought it best to cancel.

        2. Update: My dad fell this AM trying to get something from his closet (their apartment is so full, it’s like a maze). He was light headed and dizzy so he was taken to the ER to be checked out. My sis is with him and my Gram is with my mom. My mom has pneumonia and is trying to fight it off but was negative for c-diff. She barely talks anymore most days and she is not very mentally aware much of the time. A different kind of prayer request is about their finances. I have no clue what state they are in but Mom always handled EVERYTHING and she is obviously incapacitated. I don’t know where Dad is at with all of that but it is a concern obviously if he needs help. Thankfully, Daniel is good at helping in this area with a budget and is gifted with numbers so maybe we can help when we get out there. Still planning to wait until our scheduled trip to fly out but with all of life happening there, I am growing more and more anxious to be with them all.

          1. She told the doctors she is done. She is refusing all medication and has said she wants to give up. We are working on details to fly now. Please, just pray.

        3. So my two sisters have worked in the CNA and caregiver field for years - together between the two of them, they have almost 27 years of experience when added together. They know this job well. So they pulled strings and were able to get Mom into the best rehab around in their area, one they both approve of and that my dad went to after his strokes. She should be moving tomorrow over there! Praise God for that! please pray she will talk to me. She has not wanted to talk to me in weeks. All information has come from my sisters or Dad. She doesn’t talk loudly anymore because of her muscular dystrophy but I think there’s more to it than that.

          2. Will continue to pray for her. I enjoy my talks with your dad. I think he's feeling good about how things have gone so far. Praise the Lord for Diana's placement in such a good rehabilitation center🙌

          3. They are checking for c-diff today. Dad is feeling discouraged today and could use some prayer. Would anyone be interested in mailing address for cards?

        4. Please pray for one of my former students, Elijah Larson. His mama is Kay Larson, DD Cason’s sister in law, whom you may remember. He had a massive hour long seizure today, not breathing for a portion of the time, and is now in the ER. He was one of my favorite students (shhh… not supposed to have favorites but his sweet little hugs did me in…). He is a precious soul with a smile that is as wide as the ocean.

          1. He is getting discharged soon! But still, seizures like that, he could use some prayer!
