Important Prayer Request

Dear Friends,

Several weeks ago Laura Pladsen, who is a long time member of our church and teacher in our school, was admitted to the hospital. Through many tests and observation she has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The severity of it is not known yet as her and her family are waiting for more results to come back. I was able to visit Laura yesterday, and though this is serious and frightening, she is wholly trusting in God.

I ask that you would begin to pray that God would bring peace and healing to Laura. It is not a coincidence that just this past Sunday we looked at the parable of Jesus encouraging us to ask. Regardless of the path forward Laura and her family will need our support. Right now she has asked us to pray but soon tangible assistance will be needed. Will you consider how you may be able to lend a hand? When the time is right we will communicate to you.
