Faith Family Update

Dear Friends,

It is with deep sadness that I share with you the news that Laura Pladsen passed away this morning. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by all ten of her children.

Many of us were praying for a miracle. It may not have come in the way we wanted, but I want you to be sure there are many things that have happened over the past few weeks that could only be God's doing.

It is normal to feel sadness and/or confusion when experiencing loss. This is why God promises to be close to the brokenhearted and bring comfort. Please reach out to me if you are struggling and need help to process your thoughts or emotions over the next few weeks.

A celebration of life service is being organized for Saturday, June 25th at 3pm. We will gather here at Faith Assembly with Laura's family and friends to thank God for her, remember her, and celebrate her life.

If you are available to help serve in some way next Saturday, please let me know.

Until then, please keep one another in your prayers and provide comfort to each other as needed.
