    1. How to give to our ministry.

      Giving

Tithing is another essential part of stewardship as a Christian. Our tithe is of the Lord. We have many options available in giving.

      1. Online Giving- go to the church website: https://faithbaptistelpaso.org/give here you have many options to give to a specific fund, including General (main fund for the church), Missionary (funds delivered to missionaries our church supports) Building (a building fund to purchase, build, or rent a new establishment) Technology (this fund is dedicated to our Media Ministry)
      2. Giving through text- Simply text “Give” with the amount (e.g. “Give $50”) to (915) 257 0168 and follow the prompts. For a recurring gift, you’ll need to create a Faithlife account so you can keep track of your giving methods.
      3. Giving through the mail- Mail your offering to our Post Office Box at P.O. Box 972641, El Paso, Texas, 79997-2641
      4. Giving through the offering plate- During our (in-person) church services, the offering plate is passed through the congregation before the message begins every service.

No matter where you are, you are the church!

            We are sons of God

Charles Spurgeon brings out that the difference between now and then (heaven) is beyond our most excellent imaginations, which I thought I would like to explain. In 1 Corinthians 13:12 (KJV 1900): For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. We go to 1 John 3:2 (KJV 1900): Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. I want to talk about this lowercase S in sons of God. The King James version has a lowercase s in sons of God, and those sons are the believers; those sons are the ones that accepted Jesus Christ and have the honor of being a son of God, a lowercase son of God. And with that, we get the inheritance of God. Now, let's stop and think about what is the heritage of God? What does God have to pass on to his son's it prepares an incredible thing if you sit here and think about it, it's everything. It's the joy, the perfection- everything. And that's what we have in the Bible. It says we are the sons of God. The inheritance that we have by God.

Where are you? Do you have a father? Do you have a mother? Yes, but you also have the greatest heavenly father that you can call Abba to directly. You will have the inheritance passed down to you.

A lot of times, a Christian's look at things as I checked that box. I got saved and what Andy and I are going to discuss in the next following week. There's a lot more to your Christian life than just checking a box. There's a lot more joy, knowing where you stand as a Christian, what's written through the Word of God as being a Christian. What you have to do, you're a son of God. You know that when you accepted Jesus Christ, you are now a son of God, and you will have his inheritance. That's amazing. It amazes me.

We have a father that's preparing a place for his children for us in heaven. He's making a place for us while we are down here. No matter what. Economic status. In no case what social status you're at no issue. He is preparing a place. No matter how much suffering you have right now, how much heartache you may have how your heart. You are a son of God, and one day you're going to be in heaven with him. One day. You're going to have a mansion for you—one day. We are sitting at the supper of the Lamb. You're going to be sitting at the table with him. Do you know that's a position of royalty? To be able to sit at the table to eat with the King, not just any king but the King of Kings. Does that only stir up your heart a little bit, knowing that you're going to have a place in heaven?
