We, of Faith Bible church, Winsted CT, are committed to the great commission as given by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28. We see ourselves as ambassadors of Christ and known as such in our community. Reaching others with the Gospel, equipping them for successful walk and ministry, we wish to follow God’s lead where we are placed. Sensitive to His Spirit, we wish to responsively follow His clear direction, becoming what God imagines us to be.

Although we are fully dependent upon both God’s direction and grace, within our understanding of that direction and grace, we see our future in the following ways:

·        Dynamic, penetrating and stimulating preaching centered squarely on God’s Word.

·        Continuing, varied and solid Bible teaching through multiple venues.

·        A vibrant and dynamic youth ministry including grade-school, high school and college/career aged groups.

·        A consistent and varied short term mission program for our congregation’s edification, growth and personal vision potential.

·        Full use of our facilities to further God’s work here.

·        Music that is distinctly Christian, that is conservative in style, that is clearly distinct from worldliness, that promotes unity, and that clearly reflects and evokes an appropriate love, joy, thankfulness, contrition, and reverence worthy of the true and living God whom we worship.

·        Bold support of missionaries aligned with our statement of Faith through financial, prayer and physical support.
