What the Bible says about doctrinal differences. - Why does doctrine matter?
What the Bible teaches about doctrinal differences. - What about doctrinal differences? Acts 15:1-21 Does the truth matter? If the truth really does matter, then doctrinal differences are to be expected. It is true that right doctrine can make an eternal difference. But when there are differences, how should we resolve them, or can we resolve them?

To take us from the prevalent consumer mindset to a Biblical mindset of the church so that we will fully understand the call to commit ourselves to a local church and that even though it is imperfect, it is still seeking what the Bible prescribes. In today's message, my main point is this. If anyone is going to be committed to the local church, we must define what we are committing to.

Pursue Christian Character 1 Peter 1:5-7
If you are spiritually stuck, God wants you to grow. Even if you have been a Christian for many years, you can still grow in godliness; you can still pursue Christian character. Let's be clear you will not grow without deliberate discipline and effort. It is interesting that Peter, who was a man known in the gospels as being impulsive, here gives a deliberate disciplined approach for spiritual growth. If Peter the impulsive fisherman could become a disciplined, godly man, then anyone can do i

Real Faith
For this message, we are just going to zero in on the introduction, which I believe is far more than just the casual opening greeting. In fact, I contend that Peter is showing us what real faith actually is. So, I believe Peter is showing us that real faith has the apostolic witness of Jesus Christ as its foundation, is equal to that of the apostles, has Jesus Christ our God and savior as it's object, and it will experience the blessing of multiplied grace and peace.
