Fertile Ground Ranch Discipleship Ministry (FGR) was birthed out of a burden to help those in our community and congregations who have come out of a difficult past or an addictive lifestyle and who feel called to devote their lives to Christ and His Church.

We believe that the Lord’s desire for us at FGR is to invest in the lives of those who have experienced adversity such as addiction, abuse, homelessness, incarceration or marginalization by providing a place for them to find inner healing as they learn to live out of their new identity in Christ and to discover and develop their spiritual gifts and God-ordained place in the Great Commission of Matthew 28.

Our focus is not on the worldly success of the individual but rather on Christ, the building of His Church, and the advancement of His Kingdom. Our purpose is that the men and women we serve become what the book of Revelation describes as those who “overcome” and are now passionate about pursuing a life of obedience to Christ as His disciples. Our focus is not on academics but on how to live life daily with Jesus Christ at the center, allowing Him to reign in every aspect of one's life.

Our students will be inspired to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing with others the hope of new life in Christ that they themselves have experienced so that they, too, will become disciples who do likewise. However, FGR is open to anyone who wants to pursue a lifestyle of discipleship.
