Praise God! Thankfully our church member that tested positive for COVID Monday morning is feeling better already and the leadership team all tested negative. As far as I can tell, no one else contracted COVID.
Please Pray for Vanessa & Kenta's house appraisal to go through soon. And pray for those grieving and ill.
We have a good and great God who hears and answers our prayers! To Jesus Christ be all praise and glory!
Peace and Love,
Pastor Tami

Due to a Sunday exposure to COVID, we are cancelling our Third Thursday Worship Night for this week. Since it falls within the 5 day waiting period after exposure, we are taking precautions to keep everyone safe.
At this point we plan to be open Sunday provided our leadership team tests negative.
Stay safe out there!
Love and Peace,
Pastor Tami

April Highlights...
This last month was like a breath of fresh air at FFC. The sun is staying up longer. Things are starting to warm up. Flowers can be seen popping up here and there.
We had a wonderful Easter breakfast and celebration. Followed by worship night on Thursday. Plus we started our Bible Study: Stewards of Eden: Scripture and the Environment.
We wrapped up our series in 2 Corinthians before Easter and started a new sermon series on Themes in Exodus on the 24th.

- I watched the video for this week and wrote up some notes that I sent to Tami. I am using the NASB translation. My take on the translation is to use one that is as close to a word-for-word translation from the Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic as possible, and this one is based on that. The other I use is the King James Bible but it is difficult for some due to it being written in late Middle English but I have been reading that since I was in high school.
- Here is the link to the notes. Put them in Google docs https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZTj8D2V_tkuDCRdpVnqL3YJSNnvZFsfhDphn96mtvtY/edit?usp=sharing

Happy Spring FFC family!
Lots of new things are coming up...
This Thursday we start our Bible study at 6:30 PM. We will choose the topic together this first week using the Seminary Now platform. Each week a short video will provide us with a framework for group discussion and prayer. Independent reading recommendations to supplement growth will be available for those who want to stay engaged throughout the week.
This Saturday all are invited to join the greater Fairhaven community for Ken Imus Day. We'll come together to do a little spring cleaning. Bring your gloves, brooms, rakes, trowels and clippers. We’ll sweep, weed, plant and clean Fairhaven Village. Coffee and donuts will be provided. 9:00am check in at the Fairhaven Association Hub in Finnegan’s Alley 1106 Harris Avenue #103
Easter Sunday we will meet at 10 AM for breakfast and start service at 10:30 AM. Come celebrate with us in the morning. There will be no evening services on Easter.
Third Thursday Worship Nights continue April 21st at 6 PM.
Every week throughout April and May, I will be at WWU VU on the 6th floor in the dining area by the Market. Look for me at the tables by the windows from 9 AM until 11 AM. Come by at any time for morning devotions. Text me with questions or if you need help finding me.
