• Bob was up most of the night in horrible pain and now a terrible red sore throat. He can barely talk except to moan in pain. I’m not leaving him today. He says its as bad as when we went to TMC. I can’t even take him to an emergency room. We have everything they would give and it’s not working.
    1. I’m so sorry! Praying!

I have to convince him. We haven’t got much help from the medical community lately. He’s tired of being told nothing is wrong.
    3. I am so sorry he is dealing with this.
  • I have a suggestion, and it is only that I suggest we meet at 1845 to have 15-minutes of prayer requests and prayer, and then we actually start practice at 1900 without fail. We need to show a little more discipline in our actions. We need to worship on Thursday night, and it needs to be structured to start on time, or we show we are not really ready for what we are supposed to do.
    1. With right here, we're pretty much ready for next week. And that'll be the last new song for this year. We will however start work on what he's done in December.
    2. I am still however still growing in a worship leadership role. I don't have it altogether yet to completely lead the team and I am starting to branch out and grow more in my faith to lead. As a whole though (meaning the team) I agree that we need to be more aware of the role that we have on the platform when we lead the congregation through music as a lot of eyes are on us and we are the representatives for the church per se in that manner. Just my 2 cents there.
    3. Rod. You are doing a great job and it is great to see your faith journey and to be a part of it.

After reflection and time to just sit, I cannot let the idea of "making a song ours (a-cappella)“ go.. I know some expressed not such happiness about this and you were heard but this lack of team exercises , it really bothers me and I feel very HEAVY about this idea! I want to suggest 2 nights extra a month we meet and make this happen starting next year. This way prayerfully normal church/ family and work isn't disturbed too much. I understand some might not be able to make this work, I'm sorry. My post is not to leave anyone out but the option of "NOT doing it" is not sitting well with me and hasn't for some time now. I know I have crazy ideas (good and bad ones) but it's who I was called to be and I wear my hat of "crazy ideas" proudly. I love u all but we need to get this one rolling cuz not working together is not allowing us to team build and my heart hurts for this for us soooo Very much! So here I am opening the door to this again but this time I'm not letting it go. I would like to open the door to song suggestions and ask the band to make a recording for practices. I would think would could get this completed with in the next year and place the song into our set rotations
    1. I know a few many have seen this post and with the lack of agree or disagree I can see my request/ my heart is singled out. U have made a strong statement and I will knock off posting. Silence speaks volumes. God bless.
    2. Jewlz, I do have comments on your pot, but I promised not to state them on line. I appreciate your thoughts on this matter, but we need to talk about it. ken
    3. “Pot”? POST!

    3. I plan to bring a green salad
  • Did we pick a color for Sunday, October 2nd, or did we just decide not to do that anymore?
    1. Im not wearing “wine” to Church! (Andthusiswheremysarcasmemojishouldgo!)

  • You all will have an awesome rehearsal tonight!
    1. I missed you all. “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but I do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away everything I own, and if I give over my body in order to boast, but do not have love, I receive no benefit. Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up. It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful. It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. But if there are prophecies, they will be set aside; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be set aside.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:1-8‬ ‭NET‬‬
      1. Beautiful
      1. When u get promoted! Lol 😂
    2. So very proud of us to get that song out praising this morning! I am so proud of each of you to work so hard. I had doubts Thursday but with team work each of us made it! Good job team!
      1. You all sounded great
      2. Maybe. 😀
    3. Good morning all - looking ahead into next weeks song set list, I have edited Graves into gardens in the programming display on the presentation (I have not edited the one in planning center yet) so that we can shorten the song and repetition and I feel that the flow is much better for this version. Looking into the weekend of September 4th, we won't have Shawn Palmer nor Gene Call so I will be putting together an acoustic set list and I am contemplating a stage change as well just for that week since it'll just be 3 guitar player and Lorie on Keys. I will make an another post once I have decided on an acoustic set list as well for that week and for rehearsal for September 1st. I am taking request and or suggestions for the weekend of September 4th weekend as well if you there that there's a song that we could do well acoustically. Thank you all for all that you do for His Kingdom, Rod.
      1. Amazing!
      2. Hello, where can I hear the new version?
      3. I'm waiting. Would love to hear this song on ukulele especially since you can add chords to Ukulele Tabs https://www.ukulele-tabs.com/ or find chords to many church themed songs
