1 Samuel 17ESV

Confession of Our Christian Faith

Pastor: What is the sinfulness of that condition into which all mankind has fallen?

Congregation: The sinfulness of the condition into which all mankind fell is the guilt of Adam’s first sin, the lack of original righteousness, and the corruption of our whole nature (which is commonly called original sin), together with all actual transgressions which come from this nature.

Pastor: What is the misery into which all mankind fell through Adam’s first sin?

Congregation: All mankind, by their fall, lost communion with God, are under His wrath and curse, and so made liable to all the miseries of this life, to death itself, and to the pains of hell forever.

Pastor: Did God leave all mankind to perish in the condition of sin and misery?

Congregation: God, out of His mere good pleasure, from all eternity, having chosen a people to everlasting life, did enter into a covenant of grace, to deliver them out of the condition of sin and misery, and to bring them into a condition of salvation, by a Redeemer.

Review the Constitution with Us

At our recent congregational meeting, it was agreed upon that it would be a good idea for us to read through our current constitution to better understand the identity of our church family. In better understanding our church family's identity, we will be better prepared to plan for our future and for our next pastor.

Though presented to the church board, it has neither been approved nor recommended for a vote.

Let's continue to get ready for this year's Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing party. For August, we're looking for donations of school supplies. You can drop your donation off in the basket in the lobby.
