Sunday Our weekly worship service is at 11:30am each Sunday. It is a family service where all ages are welcome and included. We have age appropriate teaching for our younger participants while the adults explore God's word together. We seek to apply our faith to our everyday life and we want to impact our own lives and the lives of those in our community. After the service, we enjoy a cup of tea or coffee as we meet and share together as a family.
During the week There are opportunities to meet in various organisations, groups and activities which include smaller "life groups" to support, learn and share together, a more traditional mid-week bible study, Presbyterian Women's group, youth club, choir, prayer meeting, regular evening praise services, Youth fellowship to name a few...
Community We aim to serve Christ in the wider community and as well as running the Alpha course, we support projects such as Ballymoney Foodbank, Christians Against Poverty, Street Pastors and more... We have been partnering with the Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa in a project to help feed school children and to build and maintain school buildings in Zimbabwe.
Our mission statement:
a body of people called to show God’s love and tell of His saving grace in this place and time, so that others will become followers of Jesus.
Prayer • We believe in the transforming power of private, family and corporate prayer. When the church prays amazing things happen. Nehemiah 1
Worship • We want to love, honour and glorify God through faith in His Son and by the power of the Holy Spirit. John 4:24
People • We believe that people matter to God; He loves us passionately, He pursues us relentlessly and He will never let us go. Therefore people matter to us; we want to be a caring and compassionate community in action. John 13:34
Teaching • We believe that in all matters of faith and practice, scripture is the final authority and is the catalyst for change in our lives, church and community. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Outreach • We want to support local and global mission in our prayers, financial giving, education and personal involvement. Isaiah 6:8
We aim to be…
welcoming, inclusive, vibrant, innovative, relevant and intentional as we reach out to and engage with today’s society. We, as part of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, subscribe to the wider PCI mission statement.
