Hello Church Family!
Happy Thanksgiving! We hope this week has been full of family and friends- giving thanks to the God who gives all things. If you missed last Sunday's sermon on Jephthah, you can listen HERE.
THIS SUNDAY:
We'll be taking a break from our Hebrews sermon series to study advent topics. This first Sunday in Advent, Pastor Tanner will be preaching on Hope. Following the service, we'll have our normal Q&A. Come with your burning questions!
THIS WEEK:
Sign up here to help provide food for dinner before the Christmas play dress rehearsal on Thursday at 6:00pm (dinner at 5:00pm). If you are interested in walking in the parade or passing out goody bags while you watch the parade, show up in front of the mining museum at 5:30pm. Watch for the Wood's tan excursion and trailer- and the FBCL banner!

UPCOMING EVENTS
Come meet on 9th Street and Harrison to walk with First Baptist Church in the Parade of Lights. Parade begins at 6:00pm. We'll be handing out a little goody bag with gospel tracts and invitations to our Christmas services and events.
Ladies- please join us for a fun time decorating the church for Christmas! Snacks, drinks and decorations will be provided- just bring yourself. We begin at 1pm and go until it's all done- come and go as you need.
Celebrate the season with us by bringing a pair of new socks stuffed with goodies! ($10 or less!) We'll do the gift exchange in the Treeline Lounge. Dutch style appetizers and drinks.
