Apostle Paul said it best when he spoke the words “…perilous times shall come.” To say that we are living in uncertain times would be the understatement of the year. With school closures, furloughed employees and empty shelves at our grocery stores our nation is in a state of unrest; nevertheless, one thing still remains constant-GOD IS IN CONTROL. If we’re honest with ourselves, we have to admit that limbo brings out something that every human being hates to confront; fear. While many Christians are judged by others for seemingly being frightful, fear is a natural response since after all we yet remain in these fleshly bodies.
On the positive side, while America and most other countries have been literally shutdown, this is an excellent time for a reset; both physically and spiritually. During this unplanned downtime let us focus on how we can be better Christians and the one true way to identify with Christ is to love, in fact, Jesus says that showing love is how the world knows that we belong to him. This same love is the weapon that we can use to overcome whatever COVID-19 fears we may have. So remember, when fear raises its ugly head combat it with love
